Welcome to the new PolkadotCute.com!

If you are new here, hello! My name is Jennifer R (artist handle, Pijenn) and I am the one woman show behind Polkadot Cute, my small little business on the web. I’m an illustrator, who specializes in adorable illustrations, with a passion for entrepreneurship. I started this brand many years ago, but life has a way of being life and sometimes you need to press pause and put things on hold. I’ve had my share of ups and downs and wondering if I can really make it as an artist, but if I am nothing else I am resilient! I feel the most me behind Polkadot Cute and I believe in what I do here and want to share it with all of you. So I’m back, for good this time.

One thing I want to quickly point out. The catalog size is quite small right now. Recently I decided to retire many designs for good to focus on newer work. I have a few things still with the manu being developed and a few things that haven’t left the WIP table. However I felt that if I waited for the right time to launch the site, it would never come. So the catalog is starting out small, but many works on in progress. Being a small business where I try to make most things in house can make juggling ideas and workloads very difficult.

I spent a lot of time reflecting on the type of work I want to bring to you guys and I’m excited for all of the new opportunities available to me now that weren’t present before. I hope you’ll follow along on this journey via this blog and our social media account as I grow my business and share with you tidbits behind my scenes of my life.
