A very expensive Investment!

Hey Polkadot Cuties!

It’s been awhile since the last blog. At the time I felt like I had nothing going on, but actually.. a lot of things have been going on! For starters, I made a VERY EXPENSIVE investment this morning!. This investment is something I have been wanting for YEARS and to be honest I am glad I waited, because the technology has really come a long way and this piece is going to help me bring so many of my ideas to life as well as things I would have never thought were possible. I’m so excited to get this package in a few days. I’ve been doing some research on material suppliers I’d like to order from and I’m getting more and more excited by the second. I think my cart is already over $100… I’m also hoping this investment helps with stickers.

Frutie Cuties Sticker Sheet

Stickers have been something that’s been a bit traumatizing for me hahaha. In the beginning, I bought a Cameo because I though Cameo would be the one all the crafters flock to and at the time I didn’t see much Cricut. Turns out Cricut overshined Cameo… I never replaced my Cameo because it worked, but I have struggled when it came to stickers.

Recently I learned the perfect setting for stickers, but I have to make sure there are 0 sharp edges as the blade with lift them up and it will tear and not stick back down. I solved the problem, by making sure my designs use 0 sharp corners or points, but recently it was the cut line itself that formed a point (I didn’t think it was too bad) that caused my sticker sheet to mess up. This machine boast that it can precision cut so it will be interesting to see how well it does with stickers. I want to upgrade my Cameo, but if this works it’ll be great to have one less machine around. Not that it’s a problem, but my living space currently is very small.

New Enamel Pin

I released my 4th enamel pin last week! While it is the 3rd on the catalog it is the 4th overall design, as many years ago I released a small sakura pin. I never re-released the pin as the manu I used at the time sent me a ton of faulty pins. I did my best to determine which pins had bad prongs, but I never went back to that manu and decided not to release the design again. I’m thinking I should bring it back differently for sakura season?

The new pin is the Ribbon Bunny Pin and she is adorable!!! I’m a sucker for pink and gold metal so this pin was a bit of a self indulgence, but I think it’s the perfect pin for coordinating with an outfit.

Lastly, there was an error with my order of biodegradable glitter and the glitter I was most excited for didn’t arrive with the rest of my order. While I sort it out I had to put a pause on my next batch of wax melts as I want to release 2 scents a month so I want them to pour and cure together so they will be ready together. I’m really excited to share the inspiration behind this next batch as they are inspired by nearby places I call “home”. I’ll be teasing those locations as we get closer to launch so follow Pcute on Instagram or subscribe to the Newsletter to get a insider first look!.

Speaking of Instagram, Were only 100 away from 2,000 organic followers!! I need to think of a way to celebrate!
